Conference Halls
The Red Hall, the Blue Hall and the Culture and Convention Center at Çankaya University Campuses are under the responsibility of the Management of Cultural and Social Affairs Branch.
The Convention and Culture Center at the Central Campus, with a capacity of 330 people (capacity can be increased), allows for a wide range of organizations, with 2 seminar halls with a total capacity of 63 people, simultaneous translation rooms, backstage, VIP guest room, foyer area, kitchen and warehouses.
The Central Campus also has a Red Hall for 210 people and a Blue Hall for 140 people. The Red Hall, which is located in Balgat Campus and where crowded events such as conferences, concerts, theater plays are held, has a capacity of 700 people and the Blue Hall has a capacity of 162 people. The lecture theaters on the Balgat Campus host parallel sessions in large-scale organizations.
It is necessary to apply to the Management office with a petition or a form for any preparation, planning, organization, reservation, correspondence, approval and cancellation procedures regarding the use of these halls in the events. The halls are not opened to events unless they are approved in writing by the Rectorate and the Secretariat General.
The Management of Cultural and Social Affairs Branch is responsible for the maintenance and repair control of the halls and hall equipments, as well as the photo shooting / video recording of the University activities and archiving them.
Events that are requested to be included in the Weekly Events Agenda should be reported to the Cultural and Social Affairs Branch until Friday, at the latest, before the event date. The approved events are announced in the Event Calendar on the University website.
